In order for the artist to have a world to express
he must first be situated in this world, oppressed or oppressing, resigned or rebellious, a man among men. (Simone de Beauvoir)
The current scene that Egypt is witnessing is too prolific to be left to the politicians to reflect on it, to sculpt it, or to mould it. Art has always been an avenue to channel voices, feelings, and expressions of omnipresent situations.
The power of expression of art has the spiritual inspiration to move and stimulate deeper and stronger than the senses. Now Egypt is in a Real Transition, the long awaited elections event is falling into place. A presidential race is ignited and igniting the senses and minds of Egyptians. The rebel camel will be permitted to vote!
Whether its a reality or a spectacle! For it or against it! It doesn’t matter. If you are an Activist, Idealist, Realist, Surrealist or whichever identity you portray, this is an experience that can’t be overlooked! It’s a momentous event.
