Fann Midan is a street festival held on the first Saturday of EU
every month. It takes place in Abdeen Square in front of Abdeen Palace in downtown Cairo where it hosts a large varitey of street performances, exhibitions, concerts, and more. At Fann Midan, Darb 1718 features one artist per month.
The pavilion is donated by the European Union.

"In Macaroni Harmony" was exhibited in Darb 1718 - "Saturated Souls" exhibition in August 15, 2010. A sound-art work that presents random thoughts of an Egyptian man who is opposing the current situation in Egypt in a sarcastic way and asking people to revolt.
